As a first generation, faith-driven Haitian-American, and as a long-time advocate and admirer of the community development and social justice fields, Kathy supports initiatives that seek to provide awareness and assistance to vulnerable populations, fosters sustainable communities, and cultivates opportunities for people to learn and improve their lives. In addition to her extensive background in the housing and nonprofit sectors, Kathy has recently been appointed to the Affordable Housing Commission of Prince George’s County, is the current Vice Chair of the City of Glenarden’s Housing Authority Commission, is a social justice activist and is a co-host of a socially conscious/music podcast.
As a servant leader with a passion for and commitment to her inner and outward faithjourney, and as a believer of liberation theology and equity, Kathy continues to address the connections between money and her beliefs through the work of the Faith and Money Network where she currently sits as a Board Member.
