Is there more to life than working and buying? What does Christian faith say about managing our living, working, and spending in ways that support people and the planet?
Join Faith and Money Network’s Mike Little this fall for an online study group where participants can explore these questions. Together, we will:
- Explore our habits and history with money
- Read (and discuss with others) some of today’s leading thinkers on faith and money
- Consider how both our personal and national financial choices impact people and the environment
We have two upcoming Money, Faith and You sessions:
– Tuesdays, September 15 through October 20, 2026, 7-8:30 p.m. ET
– Mondays, October 19 through November 23, 2026, 7-8:30 p.m. ET
These groups will meet via Zoom video conference. Participants will need access to an Internet-connected desktop computer or laptop with video camera to enroll.
What to expect:
Each 90-minute group session will include an assigned reading, a writing exercise, and discussion questions from the Connecting Faith and Money study guide, a 57-page PDF, which each participant will receive for free as part of the course.

How much time will it take?
Participants should plan to spend two to three hours a week, which will include the 90-minute weekly online discussions and another roughly 90 minutes for the week’s readings and preparing the writing assignment. Writing assignments will be due the Tuesday before each class.
Themes to be covered include:
- Biblical Foundations
- Our Stories: Money’s Role in Our Lives
- Scarcity or Abundance?
- Money, Power and Global Relationships
- The Extraction Economy vs. The Neighborly Economy
- Sabbath Economics: Creating a World that Works for All
What past participants have said about Money, Faith and You study groups:
The class has been a primary catalyst in the reformation of my personal economic manifesto … it’s a Biblically-sound financial primer for anyone who wishes to align with and participate more wholly in God’s Kingdom Coming. — Becki Neely
I would highly recommend this class if you’re curious to discover more about the interwoven aspects of your spiritual life and the role that money plays in it. This is spiritual work … it calls us into a vulnerable and introspective space. — Stephen E. Cottingham, Austin, Texas
This course provides a much-needed place of dialogue, learning, discovery, and community — centered around navigating the tricky and emotionally-fraught intersections between money, our faith, and our world. Mike and his team have assembled a well-rounded, holistic, and challenging course, and I’d heartily recommend it to anyone seeking to live faithfully, even down to our pocketbooks. — Matt Weston, Memphis, Tennessee
